Bank Wins Malicious Prosecution Case

The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit ruled on March 2, 2022, in a case titled Birch/Rea Partners, Inc. v. Regent Bank Nos. 21-2118 and 21-2307, that the bank was not liable for malicious prosecution based on a lawsuit it earlier had filed against an appraisal firm and then withdrawn.
